AMA Citation Generator is designed to keep your bibliography private. Citation data you enter stays in your browser session for formatting and is not stored in a user account in this version.

What we process

When you use DOI, PMID, ISBN, or URL lookup, your query is sent to our serverless proxy and then to the corresponding public API (CrossRef, PubMed/NCBI, Open Library, or the target webpage). We do not build personal profiles from these lookups.

Contact form

If you submit the contact form, your name, email, and message are processed by our form provider so we can reply. Do not include sensitive personal health information.

Analytics & cookies

Hosting and CDN providers may collect standard technical logs. If analytics are added later, this policy will be updated.
